Complete redesign, custom WordPress theme, and content updates (2019)
“The Lewis Carroll Society of North America sought Amelie Walker-Yung and Castle Builder Design’s services when our website needed a major redesign that included a responsive design, e-commerce capability, meeting planning/activities and registration, access to media from Society meetings, and automation tools such as using Mailchimp to communicate with members. Amelie listened to us speak of the the goals and needs of our small nonprofit literary Society and created a bright, clean, well organized, visual, and easy to use website. The site is quite successful and we continue to use Castle Builder for additional design work, maintenance and support, e-commerce, and providing email functions.
On many occasions in the last two years I asked for Amelie’s help when we needed a change made to the site with insufficient notice and at inconvenient times. Amelie always makes it happen. I feel like a “special client,” but believe this service is provided to each client. She has a deep understanding of what our Society is trying to accomplish and provides excellent suggestions and guidance. Castle Builder’s work is directly responsible for our ability to to communicate with our members and has allowed us to implement greatly needed, and Society sustaining, fundraising and membership drives using e-commerce capabilities. These functionalities allow our Society to be visible and focus on the core Society mission related to the study and enjoyment of all things Lewis Carroll.
And then there is Covid-19. Like many, we must be a more “virtual” organization. Our reliance on the website and Castle Builder has increased dramatically. We’ve asked for frequent updates and changes in order to continue our programs. I am grateful for the work of Amelie and her associates as they help us with this profound transformation. They are smart and can be trusted to do superb work and provide the highest quality of service in a short time. I am confident we will continue this successful partnership.
